May your mind be a tool for greatness
As you stretch and strive and search
Never forgetting the time and patience it took
To get you here.
Remember that you too came from dust,
And someday, to dust you will return;
But,
In the meantime,
Future titans
Of clay and fire
Flesh, steel, passion and blood –
Wield your brilliance well,
And do not
Silence the stirrings
Of a great and glorious revolution
In the gray and amber dawning
Of this:
Your time,
Your generation.
